Half Life 2 is gonna get me a Heart Attack !!

Waiting and waiting again ... Half Life 2 is normally gonna get out on the 16th of November (hope this year - lol).But see what I got on Steam when I launch it each day ... :

Golf - On The Field day 2

I have been on the field yesterday for my second "real play" session. Played 7 holes and what seems to come out is that I need more practice ... :D

Points explaination : If i reached the number of stroke forseen for my level, that makes 2 points. So one less is 3 points ... One more is 1 point. 2 more makes me have to stop the hole so I don't slow other players.

Hole 1 : par 4 + 3 (level) and +1 stroke for the difficulty. Made it in 7 /8 so that gives me 3 points
Hole 2 : par 5 + 3 (level). Got 0 points (finished it in 10/8)
Hole 3 : par 5 + 3 (level). Got 0 points (finished it in 11/8)
Hole 4 : par 4 + 3 (level). Got 2 points (7/7)
Hole 5 : par 3 + 3 (level). Got 0 points (10/6)
Hole 6 : par 4 + 3 (level). Got 3 points (6/7)
Hole 7 : par 4 + 3 (level). Got 1 points (8/7)

so 9 points for 7 holes.

Just can't wait to get back on the field ...

Games that will fill up my Xmas Hollidays ...

With the end year coming, new games - long waited or not - have been announced out for the next 3 months.

Here are my choices but i also wait for a complete test of them (except HL2) :

1) Half Life 2 : This is THE game i am waiting for a long time ... As I have bought an ATI with HL2 free, I installed Valve Steam and already pre-loaded 3,4 Gb of the game ... Half Life was a terrific game with a big AI for the moment, now seeing what should be HL2 with all videos published on the net, I just can wait no more ...

2) Flatout : Arcade driving game which seems to handle so well the collisions between cars but also with the rest of the environment ... This game is now announced for multiplayer on the internet. That's make it one of my favorite but let's wait for its release.

3) Battle for Middle Earth : I have to admit that I hate command & conquer type of games but according to the universe and capabilities of BFME, i will certainly check for a demo and maybe buy it for good.

4) Madden 2005 : I tested the game and feels quite impressed. I will maybe buy the game and play match/leagues with two of my colleagues.

1) DTM Race Driver 2 - Mainly playing on the internet Formula Ford races with friends.

2) Medal of Honor - Mainly playing on the internet with my clan sÑk
